Crypto futures data and alerts in Codex

Codex can read crypto perpetual futures data from DEBYKO: the funding rate and open interest of every listing on 16 venues, stored as each venue published it, and alerts in Telegram or a webhook written as DQL rules.

Codex (the CLI, the IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share one configuration) adds a remote server by its URL, as Codex’s MCP documentation describes:

Terminal window
codex mcp add debyko --url https://mcp.debyko.com/mcp
codex mcp login debyko

The login opens a DEBYKO page in the browser: sign in with the code sent to your email and choose Allow. A new email address opens a Free account, no card. In the Codex terminal UI, /mcp lists the servers that are connected.

The same server in ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.debyko]
url = "https://mcp.debyko.com/mcp"

Codex receives the code at http://127.0.0.1:<port>/callback on your computer; DEBYKO’s page names Codex and says that a desktop app cannot be verified, so allow only a connection you started yourself.

Ask Codex to call account: it answers with your plan, the venues it includes and what is left of today’s limits.
